Rare, authentic vintage circa 1988 Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock strapless gown that gives all the 1980s dark glamour vibes, and famously dubbed the "Beetlejuice Glam" dress. Structured strapless sweetheart neckline in the front, but the back is the real showstopper with a massive, statement-making black-and-white horizontal striped satin bustle bow. The skirt is a peplum over a full, floor-length maxi with a crinoline beneath.
There are 2 spots on the skirt towards the bottom where the color has faded into a coppery brown. There are also some snags in the skirt, and some loose strings. A few ways to deal with this. 1) Ignore the imperfections. This dress is so good, and nobody will be paying attention to anything other than that. 2) Bring the dress to a tailor and have the hem brought up, from maxi to mini. Goodbye spots! (Worth it).
