Rare, authentic vintage circa 1988 Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock strapless ball gown that gives all the 1980s dark glamour vibes. Famously dubbed the "Beetlejuice Glam" dress, it blends gothic elegance with vintage 80s high-fashion. Structured strapless sweetheart neckline in the front, but the back is the real showstopper with a massive, statement-making black-and-white horizontal striped satin bustle bow. A peplum flows into a full, floor-length maxi skirt with a crinoline beneath.
There are two spots on the skirt towards the bottom hem where the color has faded into a coppery brown. There are also some snags in the skirt, and some loose strings. A few possible ways to deal with this. 1) Ignore the imperfections. This dress is so good, and nobody will be paying attention to anything other than your awesomeness. 2) Bring the dress to a tailor and have the hem brought up, from maxi to mini. Goodbye spots!
