About Us

Dirty Work opened in the summer of 2023 as a one-month pop-up shop in the lobby of beBhakti Yoga Center in Beacon, NY. After that, we spent some time at the Beacon Flea, before opening another pop-up shop at 496 Main Street in Beacon. Tired of moving (and buying and selling from the back of our minivan!), we landed at 1092 Main Street in Fishkill in the early spring of 2024. After two years at our beloved store, we closed our doors at the brick-and-mortar in the late spring of 2026.  

For the time being, we're taking a short, umm, recovery break from running an in-person shop, while focusing on figuring out the next step. (Running a brick-and-mortar is a LOT. IYKYK).

In the meantime, our little wonderland of vintage fashion, furniture, and decor is still going strong in other ways. We have been running auctions on Auction Ninja, and we're selling online. Which also means we're working on an overhaul of this here website because, geez, it's gotten clunky over the years. (Growth! Challenges! Etc!). And of course, we will probably even be vending at a local event or two this summer (and when we do, pretty please come out and say hi! We miss all your faces).
